Summer 2019
Cleveland Clinic Innovations (internship)
branding, design
Each year, Cleveland Clinic reveals the Top 10 Medical Innovations as part of the Medical Innovation Summit (MIS). Since they give the list for the upcoming year, I was working on the design for 2020 in my internship in 2019.

I started by brainstorming two general themes based on simple geometric shapes, using Photoshop to sketch.
I presented both themes to the team using the draft designs below for the circles. The palette had yet to be finalized, so I used black and white.
Each invention has a short video detailing it that would need a title and banners to display explanatory text. For the live announcement at the summit, I needed to design the layouts for the different screens, transitions between the inventions, and a fallback design for any dead time between videos or technical errors.

The theme can also be seen in action in the videos on this page: Cleveland Clinic Unveils Top 10 Medical Innovations for 2020.
