Written proofs for an exam for a difficult freshman math course, Math 2230.
Math 2230: Theoretical Linear Algebra and Calculus is a challenging course aimed at students who want to go beyond memorizing formulas and plugging in numbers. As one of the two women out of a class of about 30, I was interviewed for an article about the class, which can be found here.
This exam was a take home exam, to better allow us to explore the problems, even if we couldn't solve them. Explaining the work and connecting the logic from each step to the next was key.
